PERKLICIOUS was born along the beautiful 30A coastline in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

In 2017, my wife and I made one of the biggest decisions of our lives. We left Kansas City, our friends, our family, and our entire support system to chase a dream we had quietly carried for years. It was exciting, but it was also terrifying. Starting over always is. But all the signs seemed to be there, and somehow everything just started falling into place.

I had been working remotely in the cybersecurity field for some time, and my wife had spent 17 wonderful years as a stay-at-home mom raising our family. When the opportunity came to move to a beach town we had always dreamed about, we knew it was time to take the leap.

Nearly a decade later, we found ourselves asking a familiar question again: What’s next?
Then it hit us.

Through all those years the early mornings, the late nights, the long conversations about dreams and possibilities coffee had always been there with us. Those quiet moments where you talk about the things you don’t always say out loud… coffee was part of every one of them.

And in many ways, it felt like coming full circle. Before my career in cybersecurity, I had spent years running four coffee shops. Coffee had always been part of my story.
So we decided it was time to build something of our own.

That’s how PERKLICIOUS was born.

We created PERKLICIOUS to celebrate those same moments. The quiet ones, the meaningful ones, the ones where you slow down and reconnect with yourself or the people around you. Because coffee isn’t just a drink.

It’s a ritual.
It’s a pause.
It’s a moment that belongs entirely to you.

And in a world that rarely slows down anymore, those moments matter.
